Fall,Our town is full of beautiful fall colors this time of year. The colors of red, yellow, orange, brown, and green combine to make a beautiful work of art. Our town is  well known this time of year for its world-famous 75-mile canoe race, The 90-Miler. This race kicks off our fall season. The paddlers travel through the heart of the Adirondack wilderness, beginning here in our little town at the start of the Fulton Chain of Lakes in Old Forge and travel the 75 mile course north. Fall is also a great time to mountain biking and hunt here in the ADKs. Staying with us means you’re already in the woods! Winter, Old Forge transforms with a beautiful white blanket into a Winter Wonderland when December rolls around.
